The ASCEND mission
The Academy for Science and Continuing Education in Diabetes and Obesity (ASCEND) provides practical, CME-accredited content designed to improve the care of people living with diabetes and obesity worldwide. The curriculum is designed for physicians and specialists in primary care/general practice, family medicine specialists and those in internal medicine with a special interest in diabetes/obesity. ASCEND supports those who are committed to improving care for people with diabetes, obesity and related cardiovascular disorders.
Supporting companies do not have any control or influence over the planning, content, speaker selection or execution of educational activities. The development of the ASCEND programme has been made possible through grants from the supporters listed below.

Funding Opportunities
ASCEND is currently seeking funding from multiple supporters in the diabetes and obesity field so as to expand this educational programme and provide an extended learning for HCPs in the field. Opportunities are US and Global.
